I was the lead project manager (PM) in 10 projects for US mid and large organizations, with 90% of them completed or handed over in green status.
We used Zoho Projects to manage the projects and here you can see the high-level view of the status of these projects when I left the company:
Note: The projects´ names are censured for confidentiality purposes, as they contain the clients´names.
From these 10 projects:
- 🔵I closed 6 of them successfully.
- 🟢I handed over 3 of them to a replacement PM in green status (good health).
- 🟡I handed over 1 of them to a replacement PM in yellow status (at risk of becoming off-track). The project faced many issues and delays, and the last configuration needed was going to take more than expected, and the client was not happy about it. This could have been prevented if we had set better expectations with the client in terms of the completion date and if we had analyze better their current setup and what was being implemented by other contractors.
Each project's scope was different but they were all related to Microsoft Teams and/or contact center solutions. They covered:
- Implementing Microsoft Teams (including direct routing & porting).
- Designing & implementing auto-attendants & call flows.
- Implementing Anywhere365's attendant console.
- Designing & implementing Anywhere365's unified contact centers (UCCs).
- Implementing TeamCX' contact center reporting.
Some projects were executed entirely by internal resources, while others were completed along with third-party partners.
