🗺️Context:
The client was technology wholesaler in Venezuela that sold cellphones, networking equipments (like wireless routers) and their accessories. Their customers were small retail stores.
Their operation in Venezuela had grown and scaled very rapidly, so they needed to have better and standard processes that would guarantee a quality operation without the owners´ constant participation.
Methodology
The project team was made of 2 business consultants and 2 business analysts (which included me). For each department, we followed this procedure:
- Understand & document the current activities through direct visualization and interviews.
- Define formal processes by grouping activities.
- Improve activities (with the approval of the client).
- Document the final process in a manual (in PowerPoint, Word and or Excel).
- Train the employees on the manual
